How this site works
Three steps, and what each part of a listing means. If your question is not here, email help@autismfriendlycare.com.
Step 1: Tell us what you need
Pick the kind of care, like a dentist or a pediatrician. Enter your ZIP code and how far you can travel.
That is all we ask. We never ask for your child’s name, diagnosis, or medical history.
Step 2: Compare what each practice offers
Each listing shows the accommodations the practice offers. Headphones during a cleaning, a quiet waiting space, the first appointment of the day.
Every answer says who gave it and when. If a practice told us they do not offer something, the listing says so. If nobody has asked yet, it says that instead.
Step 3: Call, or send a message
Each listing has a phone number, and some can take a message through the site. Our family guides include what to ask before you book.
Is this free?
Yes. Free for families, always. There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
Why does this listing say almost nothing?
Every listing starts as a public record: a name, an address, a specialty. Detail is added practice by practice, by asking each office directly.
A sparse listing means nobody has asked that office yet. It is not a judgment of the practice.
What do the checkmarks and labels mean?
A listing is enriched when we have added detail from the practice or its own materials. It is verified when we confirmed the details with the practice directly.
Why did my search find nothing?
Coverage is built one phone call at a time, so some areas are still empty. Join the launch list on the home page and we email you when there is a checked listing near you.
Can a practice pay to rank higher, or to get a badge?
No. The code that orders results cannot see whether a practice pays. Verification cannot be bought either.
Practices can pay to show more photos on their profile. That is all a payment changes.
Why are there no star ratings?
We do not average families into a number out of five. We describe what a practice offers and who confirmed it, and you decide.
A practice is in the wrong place on the map
Email help@autismfriendlycare.com with the practice name and the correct address. We can correct a pin directly, and mapping mistakes are usually fixed within a few days.
I'm an autistic adult, not a parent. Can I use this?
Yes. The questions we ask practices were written around a child’s visit, but the accommodations matter at any age. Age ranges on each listing show who a practice sees.
Do you store anything about my child?
No. Searches need a ZIP code, not a name. Reviews are published without medical details, and we remove any that slip in.
The privacy policy lists everything we store. Email us and we delete your data.
How do I list my practice, or fix my listing?
Email help@autismfriendlycare.com and tell us what is wrong or missing. You do not need to claim the profile first.
To manage your listing yourself, open your profile page and choose Claim this profile.
Who runs this?
A sister and brother: Sabinne Goreski, whose autistic son is the reason it exists, and Joshua, who builds it. Read the whole story.
